The cherry blossoms came in bloom in April but it was still unusually cold for most of the month. El Nino has been screwing up the weather in the Far East and we had an extended winter, but we still managed to go out and have lots of fun at Leo's favorite places. He also said his first word: わんわん (pronounced "wan wan"), which is the word Japanese children use for dog. It is also the sound dogs make, like "bark bark" or "arf arf" in English.
